If your driver's license gets stolen or lost while travelling in Spain you must contact the local police immediately and go to your country's embassy or consulate and they will inform you of what to do. Some may issue a provisional document that allows you to drive in Spain for a short time. If your license was lost or stolen before coming to Spain and your country has issued you a provisional license and/or certificates, they will not be automatically recognized in Spain or other EU countries.
